The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the U.S.. One of its duties is the oversight of opioid rehab facilities, which are centers who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
