The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for health efforts to promote the behavioral health of the U.S.. One of its responsibilities is the supervision of opioid rehab facilities, which are programs which provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency.
