The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for efforts to advance the mental health of the U.S.. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehab programs, which are programs which offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency.
