The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of health efforts to promote the behavioral health of the U.S.. One of its obligations is the supervision of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are programs which offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency.
