Alcohol and drug abuse programs for Veterans are central for the mental well-being and overall stability of Vets of all branches of the military. Because alcohol and drug abuse and other mental health problems are experienced at higher than average rates among Vets, it is crucial that Veterans get the assistance they need because of such high rates of suicide also associated with these disorders with Veterans.
Substance abuse programs for Vets in Hot Springs National Park are available from the VA, with included services such as measures to address associated disorders such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, pain, disturbed sleep, irritability, and/or relationship problems which most commonly trigger addiction disorders among Veterans.
