Alcohol and drug abuse programs for Vets are essential for the mental well-being and overall stability of Veterans of all branches of the military. Because substance abuse and other mental health disorders are experienced at higher than average rates among Veterans, it is important that they get the help they need because of such high suicide rates also associated with these disorders among our Vets.
