The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehab facilities, which are centers who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency.
