Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - Baltic, CT.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol treatment in Baltic, this program will pay for certain rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various types of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient substance rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the expenses for outpatient substance abuse rehab. This includes outpatient care, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as depression or anxiety and drugs administered by clinics. It also covers professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for clients who want supplemental health insurance aside from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
