The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the U.S.. One of its obligations is the oversight of opioid rehab programs, which are centers who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
