The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of efforts to advance the behavioral health of the United States. One of its obligations is the administering of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are programs who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
