The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of efforts to promote the behavioral health of the United States. One of its duties is the oversight of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are programs which offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency. Drug given are drugs such as buprenorphine, methadone, and other drugs which help curb cravings and withdrawal for opioid addicted people. SAMSHA certified opioid rehabilitation centers in Goshen are programs which are officially allowed to dispense the medicines used in MAT being they maintain their certification and continue to meet certain requirements.
