The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of efforts to promote the mental health of the U.S.. One of its duties is the oversight of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
