Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Treatment Programs - Weatogue, CT.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health care for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol treatment in Weatogue, Medicare will pay for certain recovery programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various forms of care.

Individuals who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal and those required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
