There are both inpatient and outpatient drug and alcohol rehab, but there are a few types of outpatient drug treatment in Momence to choose from. Typical outpatient care is not invasive and clients usually go to counseling and therapy a few times a week. Intensive outpatient rehabs provide counseling and therapy much like normal outpatient, but on a more accelerated schedule which also accommodates work and family life.
One outpatient drug and alcohol rehab type referred to as Day Treatment or Partial Hospitalization is the most comprehensive type of outpatient treatment out there. Clients can still go to a sober-living program or home every day, but will spend the majority of their time involved in outpatient rehab services. Day treatment and partial hospitalization outpatient drug rehab is perfect for clients who have recently finished an inpatient rehab, but still need to maintain a robust support system while becoming more comfortable with sober living. These programs also usually offer a broader spectrum of services that normal outpatient may not provide, including alternative therapies, medication management, and dual-diagnosis treatment.
It is common for individuals in outpatient alcohol or drug treatment or following treatment in outpatient alcohol or drug treatment to relapse. In these cases inpatient treatment would ideally be the next logical step.
