There is an option to take this drug as a monthly injection, and that is called Vivitrol. As an opioid blocker, the drug prevents an individual from experience high feelings from opioids, and in turn lowers the risk associated with relapse. This daily shot costs anywhere from $1000 to $1200 a month.
