It too is taken every day, and is priced around $450 per month. Naltrexone is an additional medication taken in opioid maintenance therapy, but unlike the other drugs aforementioned it is an opioid blocker and is not an opiate. A person has the choice to take this medication as a monthly injection, and that is called Vivitrol. As an opioid blocker, the drug prevents someone from experience being high from opioids, and therefore lowers the risk associated with relapse.
