Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Treatment Facilities - English, IN.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health benefits for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people who do have Medicare and need addiction recovery services in English, this program will cover various rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various types of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient substance rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but policy holders will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the fees associated with outpatient substance abuse treatment. This includes outpatient services, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring mental health disorders such as depression or anxiety and medications dispensed by clinics. It also covers professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for people who want additional coverage aside from Medicare Parts A, B, and D. Individuals who have Part C can have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications associated with treating withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and medications used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
