Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Centers - Louisville, KY.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program which helps pay for medical healthcare services for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For people that do have Medicare and require addiction recovery services in Louisville, Medicare will cover various rehabilitation programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different forms of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the individual's lifetime.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers substance abuse related medications. Including medications used for drug and alcohol withdrawal and medications required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
