The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of efforts to advance the mental health of the U.S.. One of its obligations is the supervision of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are programs who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
