The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of efforts to advance the mental health of the nation. One of its responsibilities is the administering of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
