The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of health efforts to promote the mental health of the United States. One of its obligations is the administering of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are programs who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
