The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of efforts to promote the behavioral health of the U.S.. One of its responsibilities is the administering of opioid rehab facilities, which are programs which offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency. Drug given are drugs like methadone, buprenorphine and other drugs that stop withdrawal and curb cravings for opioid dependent people.
