The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for efforts to advance the mental health of the nation. One of its obligations is the administering of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are programs which offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
