The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department in charge of health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the United States. One of its obligations is the supervision of opioid rehab facilities, which are programs that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
