These rehabs also tend to offer a broader array of care that typical outpatient may not provide, including alternative therapies, medication management, and dual-diagnosis treatment.
It is common for clients in outpatient drug treatment or following treatment in outpatient drug and alcohol treatment to experience a relapse. In these cases inpatient treatment would ideally be the next step.
