The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for efforts to promote the mental health of the nation. One of its responsibilities is the administering of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
