The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency in charge of efforts to promote the mental health of the United States. One of its obligations is the administering of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are programs that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
