The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for health efforts to promote the behavioral health of the U.S.. One of its duties is the supervision of opioid rehab facilities, which are centers which offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are in the midst of opioid addiction and dependency.
