The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. One of its obligations is the administering of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are centers that provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
