The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for efforts to advance the mental health of the U.S.. One of its responsibilities is the supervision of opioid rehab programs, which are programs that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction. Drug administered are drugs such as buprenorphine, methadone, and other drugs which help curb cravings and withdrawal for opioid addicted people.
