A crisis event, such as someone struggling with the devastating consequences of a mental health issue such as alcoholism or drug addiction, calls for an intervention by a team of professionals who can help get them the help they need before it's too late. A Crisis Intervention Team in New Lebanon is a form of community monitoring which calls upon and activates law enforcement, healthcare, and other concerned agencies as well as family members to help those in crisis.
