DWI clients in treatment need to complete specific requirements to fulfill the conditions of their sentencing. Rehab facilities that help satisfy these requirements and conditions, which are usually more lenient than traditional sentencing which would include steep fines and jail time, are available in Grant to deliver educational services, therapy, and additional assessment for clients with serious drug or alcohol issues.

Education is a primary tool used at rehabs treating DWI clients. There are a few different levels of alcohol education classes and this can differ by state. Level I education usually include 12 hours of education about the effects of drugs and/or alcohol. This is the what a person with a first offense or someone under 21 will ordinarily be required to do. Level II courses would consist of both substance abuse education and therapy in a program which is approved by the courts.
