The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the United States. One of its obligations is the oversight of opioid rehabilitation facilities, which are centers which offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
