Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications associated with treating withdrawal symptoms during detoxification and those used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
