Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Centers - Java, SD.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals that do have Medicare and need substance abuse recovery services in Java, Medicare will pay for various rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering different types of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient substance treatment, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the fees for outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation. This includes outpatient services, therapy, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as anxiety disorders or depression and drugs dispensed by clinics. It also covers professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for people who want supplemental health insurance apart from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as medications used for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
