Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Facilities - Benwood, WV.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health care for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and need drug or alcohol rehabilitation in Benwood, this program will cover certain rehab programs and treatment services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain kinds of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient addiction treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers a total of 190 days of inpatient care, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the fees associated with outpatient substance abuse rehabilitation. This includes outpatient services, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as depression or anxiety and drugs administered by clinics. It also pays for professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for people who want supplemental coverage aside from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C may have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for substance abuse related medications. Including medications associated with treating withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as medications required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
