The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for health efforts to advance the mental health of the United States. One of its obligations is the oversight of opioid rehab programs, which are programs which offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are experiencing opioid addiction and dependency.
