The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for health efforts to promote the mental health of the U.S.. One of its obligations is the oversight of opioid rehabilitation programs, which are centers that provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
