The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for health efforts to promote the mental health of the United States. One of its obligations is the oversight of opioid rehab programs, which are programs who offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to clients who are experiencing opioid dependency and addiction.
