The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for health efforts to promote the behavioral health of the U.S.. One of its obligations is the administering of opioid rehab programs, which are centers that offer medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction. Drug administered are drugs such as buprenorphine, methadone, and other drugs that help curb cravings and withdrawal for opioid dependent clients.
