The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government department responsible for health efforts to promote the mental health of the U.S.. One of its responsibilities is the supervision of opioid rehab programs, which are programs who provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to individuals who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
