The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, "SAMHSA" for short, is the government agency responsible for health efforts to advance the mental health of the United States. One of its obligations is the supervision of opioid rehab facilities, which are centers that provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to people who are in the midst of opioid dependency and addiction.
