Access to Recovery Voucher - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - Anchorage, AK.

When someone in Anchorage needs substance abuse treatment but doesn't have private health insurance or the funds to pay for treatment in full, the Access to Recovery Voucher is an alternative to look into. ATR is a federally-funded plan which makes it possible for individuals to access addiction treatment facilities and support including inpatient programs, intensive outpatient, regular outpatient, continuing care, counseling, life coaching and recovery support, skills building, vocational training, and transportation assistance. The ATR grant program allows those individuals with vouchers to purchase treatment and recovery support services for addiction disorders at the provider of their choice. To be eligible for ATR individuals must meet certain criteria, including: 1) must be 18 years or older, 2) have a history of substance abuse and addiction, 3) have an annual income that is less than 200% of the Federal poverty level, and 4) reside in the counties or jurisdictions that provide ATR.
