DWI Clients - Alcohol and Drug Rehab Facilities - Levelock, AK.

DWI clients in rehab need specific requirements met to satisfy the terms of their court sentencing. Treatment programs which help satisfy these requirements and conditions, which are typically far more lenient than regular sentencing such as large fines and incarceration, are offered in Levelock to deliver alcohol education, group counseling, and additional assessment for severe drug or alcohol issues.

Drug and Alcohol Education is a primary treatment tool used at rehabs treating DWI offenders. There are a few different levels of alcohol education classes and this can vary by state. Level I education typically include 12 hours of education about the effects and dangers of drugs and/or alcohol. This is the what someone with a single conviction or someone under the age of 21 will often be required to do. Level II courses would include both education and group therapy at a court approved program. How long a client will be required to participate in therapy depends upon a few considerations, which can be, for example, how many DWI's the individual has had, and the seriousness of the offense. In most cases, clients will be sentenced to the Level II DWI classes and therapy except for when their blood-alcohol content was very low when they were arrested and there were no other serious infractions when the individual was arrested.
