Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centers - Black, AL.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for health benefits for people living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 and older. For individuals that do have Medicare and require substance abuse recovery services in Black, Medicare may cover certain rehab programs and recovery services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various forms of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient addiction treatment, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only covers 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the costs associated with outpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation. It also covers professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for individuals who want supplemental coverage in addition to what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C can have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal and those required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
