Partial hospitalization/Day Treatment is a type of out-patient drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that is just below intensive out-patient and more intensive than normal outpatient rehab. Partial Hospitalization Day Treatment is also designed to help people who require intense rehab for a dual-diagnosis disorder, but do not require twenty-four hour intervention and treatment. For a client who has finished inpatient rehab, a partial hospitalization day treatment program in Center Ridge could help them transition more easily into a sober lifestyle as a "step-down" option. Following partial hospitalization day treatment, the individual could then phase into regular outpatient treatment.
When a client is in a partial hospitalization day treatment facility, they typically participate in services in the range of three to five days per week. It is similar to an in-patient program in many important ways, including the fact that people will get access tonurses, physicians, and mental health professionals who can deal with the psychological, emotional, and physical issues they are trying to overcome. For at least 4-6 hours on the days that individuals participate in partial hospitalization day treatment, the clients will receive one-on-one addiction therapy, psychotherapy services, participate in group counseling, get any required medical care and deal with any of the mental health symptoms that are triggering their drug addiction.
