Medicare - Drug and Alcohol Treatment Programs - Charlotte, AR.

Medicare is a federal program that helps pay for medical healthcare services for individuals living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 and older. For people who do have Medicare and need substance abuse rehabilitation in Charlotte, this program can cover certain treatment programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various types of treatment.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient substance rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but policy holders will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for 190 days of inpatient care total, this applies to the individual's lifetime.

Individuals who have Part C may have more insurance benefits available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications associated with treating drug and alcohol withdrawal as well as medications required for maintenance therapy such as methadone or buprenorphine.
