Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Programs - Moscow, AR.

Medicare is a federal health insurance program that helps pay for health benefits for individuals living in the Unites States who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals who do have Medicare and require drug or alcohol recovery services in Moscow, this program can pay for certain rehabilitation programs and recovery services. Medicare consists of different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering various kinds of medical care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A pays for inpatient substance treatment, and up to 60 days in treatment without a co-pay but individuals will have to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for 190 days of inpatient care total, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B covers up to 80% of the fees for outpatient substance abuse treatment. This includes outpatient care, therapy/counseling, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as depression or anxiety and medications administered by clinics. It also covers professional interventions.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an option for individuals who want supplemental coverage apart from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. Individuals who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D pays for drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications used for withdrawal symptoms during detoxification as well as medications required for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
