Medicare - Alcohol and Drug Rehabilitation Programs - Camp Pendleton, CA.

Medicare is a federal program which helps pay for health benefits for people living in the U.S. who are either disabled or 65 years of age or older. For individuals that do have Medicare and need addiction rehab in Camp Pendleton, this program can cover certain rehabilitation programs and treatment services. Medicare comes in different "Parts", with Parts A-D covering certain kinds of care.

Part A (Insurance for Hospital Stays) - Medicare Part A covers inpatient substance rehabilitation, and up to 60 days in rehab without a co-pay but individuals will be required to pay a deductible. Medicare only pays for a total of 190 days of inpatient care, as in during the person's lifetime.

Part B (Medical Insurance) ? Medicare Part B pays up to 80% of the expenses associated with outpatient substance abuse rehab. This includes outpatient services, therapy, treatment for co-occurring disorders such as depression or anxiety and medications administered by clinics. It also covers professional intervention services.

Part C (Medicare-approved Private Insurance) Medicare Part D is an alternative for individuals who want additional coverage aside from what the other parts of Medicare have to offer. People who have Part C may have more options available to them, but out-of-pocket costs and coverage is different and may be more expensive.

Part D (Prescription Insurance) Medicare Part D covers drug and alcohol addiction medications. Including medications needed for drug and alcohol withdrawal and those used for maintenance therapy such as buprenorphine or methadone.
