American Indians and Alaska Natives are historically more likely than individuals of other racial and ethnic groups to require rehabilitation for substance abuse and addiction. So therefore, there is an absolute need for a variety of service types to cover all of the various needs of this client demographic, including addiction treatment services in native languages.
One of the barriers that American Indian and Alaska Natives in Cathedral City face is access to comprehensive and effective treatment facilities, particularly those who live in rural locations.
